Nyonya Cendol with Gula Melaka

Nyonya Cendol – The Authentic Nyonya dessert is a must after your meal! It is a finely shaved ice topped with the pure Gula Melaka syrup, fresh coconut milk, home cooked red beans and Cendol (aroma pandan flavoured, vibrant green rice flour jelly noodles). The Cendol is refreshing, with perfect balance of sweetness, unique texture and flavour, making it a beloved treat, especially on hot days.

My boyfriend and I are in Malacca for a few nights and we came here on our last night and are so happy we did. The food was yummy and the service was great. We would definitely recommend and will return if we are even in Malacca again 😊

Must try their signature Asam Pedas Nyonya yang masak. Very authentic and savoury. Plus other menu too!

One of the best and fresh nyonya foods we have tried so far. Four of us ate more than 10 dishes and ended the meal with the homemade chendol. We love and must order the ayam buah keluak, fish assam pedas, lemak nenas prawn and sotong, fried petai with sotong, ayam ponteh, omelette cincalok and the itik soup! Gosh, I'm salivating already! Highly recommended place to eat nyonya food in Melaka. And fyi the owners are friendly to friendly people only.. Enjoy!

Been trying different nyonya restaurants in Melaka, I think Cottage Spices still serves the best nyonya food in Melaka. Their fish and seafood are fresh and really delicious. The gravy is not very spicy which I think kids and people who are low tolerance for spicy also can eat. Their cendol is a must order dessert because it is the best cendol in Melaka! You can taste a strong aroma of Gula Melaka in the cendol😋Really love their food! Would definitely comeback again and recommend to my family and friends.

The tiny humble restaurant located along Jalan Merdeka, serving bold authentic flavours of Baba Nyonya/Peranakan cuisine using carefully selected local ingredients. It has that family homecooked feel to it you just have to visit to understand. All their dishes were cooked to its maximum flavour. Special highlight to their Asam Pedas Fish, succulent in their spicy-soury thick gravy paired well with their cencalok omellete. Good for big groups but seatings are limitted. Parking is ample around the area.

If you’re looking for some local Malacca taste, Cottage Spices Nyonya Restaurant is a stop that you definitely have to make on your trip. Freshest and the best local ingredients abd every bite is with a rich, natural taste. Freshly cooked food every order, the serving time will be approximately 15 minutes but is worth the wait. The cendol is a must try, best I have taken in malacca so far.
